Descripción:IC261 is a small molecule inhibitor of protein kinase activity. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of human leukemia HL-60 cells with minimal toxicity in vitro. IC261 inhibits protein synthesis by affecting the transport of proteins into the cell nuclei and inhibiting phosphorylation of proteins. IC261 also reduces cancer cell survival by inhibiting epidermal growth factor receptor signaling, which may be due to its ability to inhibit protein kinases.
