Ac-Gly-BoroPro is a peptide hormone that belongs to the group of prognostic factors. It is expressed in a variety of tissues and organs, including the brain, heart, kidney, liver, pancreas and stomach. The function of Ac-Gly-BoroPro is not yet fully understood and remains an area of active research. Ac-Gly-BoroPro has been shown to be upregulated in metastatic breast cancer cells. This peptide has also been shown to stabilize epithelial tumors by sequestering serine protease activity. Ac-Gly-BoroPro exhibits anticancer activity by inhibiting cell proliferation and inducing apoptosis in human breast cancer cells.
