RIPK3-IN-1 is a recombinant protein that activates the receptor, Receptor Interacting Protein Kinase 3 (RIPK3). RIPK3 is a member of the serine/threonine kinase family and is involved in regulating inflammatory responses. The activation of RIPK3 by RIPK3-IN-1 leads to the phosphorylation of various downstream targets, including caspases, which are involved in apoptosis. Inhibitors such as RIPK3-IN-1 may be useful for regulating inflammatory responses in diseases such as obesity, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease and arthritis.
