740 Y-P is a c-c chemokine receptor that has been shown to induce autophagy. Autophagy is the process by which cells break down and recycle their own components. 740 Y-P, as an autophagy inducer, may be useful in treating inflammatory bowel disease and malignant brain tumors. It also has anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit the production of cytokines such as il-10. 740 Y-P interacts with toll-like receptors and can activate rapamycin treatment for cervical cancer, growth factor for bowel disease, and pharmacological treatments for bowel disease.
