2-Azido-2-deoxy-L-glucopyranose is a Custom synthesis, modification and fluorination of methylated glucopyranosides. This compound has been shown to be effective in the synthesis of mono-, oligo-, and polysaccharides. 2-Azido-2-deoxy-L-glucopyranose is used for the preparation of glycosylation reagents.
