2,5-Norbornadiene Palladium(II) Dichloride is a compound that consists of palladium and 2,5-norbornadiene. It is a yellow solid with an elemental analysis of C, H, and Pd. The compound has been investigated in kinetics as well as electrochemical properties. This compound has also been studied for its spectroscopies and electron cyclopolymerization properties. The synthesis of this molecule is done by the reaction of palladium chloride with 2,5-norbornadiene in a high yield experiment. The compound's spectrum consists of peaks at 544 cm-1 for the carbon atom, 756 cm-1 for the hydrogen atom, 886 cm-1 for the phosphorus atom and 907 cm-1 for the chlorine atom.
