Descripción:ASK1-IN-1 is an activated form of a naturally occurring protein kinase, ASK1. It has been shown to be effective in reversing ventricular dysfunction and reducing nephropathy in a rat model of apical hypertensive nephrosclerosis. ASK1-IN-1 was also found to activate the mitochondrial membrane potential and increase growth factor production in cultured cells, which may contribute to its protective effects. More research is needed to determine the efficacy of ASK1-IN-1 for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy or other disorders.
