Descripción:4-Cyanothiane-4-carboxylic acid (4C4CA) is a fluorescent probe that is used for the detection of myoglobin. It has been shown to bind to myoglobin with high affinity, which makes it an ideal candidate for the diagnosis of diseases caused by myoglobin, such as heart attacks and muscle damage. 4C4CA can be immobilized on a surface in order to provide a stable environment for detection and analysis. This dye is also effective at detecting other proteins such as theophylline and caffeine. 4C4CA is sensitive to pH changes, making it suitable for use in biological samples that are unstable at low pH values. 4C4CA also has antiviral activity against certain viruses, such as HIV, herpes simplex virus type 1, and influenza A virus.
