Descripción

Miloxacin is a synthetic antibiotic that inhibits microbial growth by interfering with protein synthesis and cell division. Miloxacin is active against microorganisms, including bacteria, protozoa, and fungi. It has been found to be most effective against Gram-positive bacteria. Miloxacin is also used as an antiparasitic agent in veterinary medicine. It has been shown to be effective against Paragonimus westermani and Taenia saginata, which are parasites of the respiratory tract and intestinal tract respectively. Miloxacin is not active against viruses or fungi.
