Información del producto
4-(Trifluoromethyl)benzene-1,2-diol (TFB) is the common name for an isomer of 4-chlorobenzene-1,2-diol. TFB has been shown to have strong antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It also has the ability to activate complement and is a potent inhibitor of methoxide, which inhibits the formation of hydrogen peroxide. TFB is a potential drug candidate for use in bacterial infections, as it has been shown to be effective against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
