Descripción:Isobutyl laurate is an organic acid that is classified as a fatty acid. It has been shown to have citric, cerevisiae strain, and proton chemical reactions with water. Isobutyl laurate is soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform, acetone, methylene chloride and benzene. Isobutyl laurate can be used as an analytical method for the determination of water permeability. Isobutyl laurate is also a good acceptor for hydrogen fluoride.
