Arjunglucoside I is a compound that belongs to the group of triterpenoid saponins. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anticarcinogenic and anti-mutagenic properties in experimental models. Arjunglucoside I inhibits inflammatory bowel disease by regulating the immune response of T-cells and natural killer cells. The compound also has beneficial effects on skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, as well as collagen production in skin fibroblasts. Arjunglucoside I can be found in food products such as cereal grains, wheat, oats and rye.
