Información del producto
Methyl 3-(4-nitrophenoxy)benzoate is a hydroxamic acid that has been shown to have antitumor and antiproliferative activities. This compound inhibits the proliferation of cancer cell lines, including human prostate and breast cancer cells, in vitro. Methyl 3-(4-nitrophenoxy)benzoate prevents the growth of cancer cells by interfering with DNA synthesis, which is essential for the division of cells. It also inhibits the production of protein kinase C (PKC), which may be responsible for its antiproliferative activity.
