Descripción:
WH-4-023 is a molecule that inhibits the function of cellular molecules, including proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids. It has been shown to inhibit binding to the enzyme adenosine deaminase in leukemia cells. WH-4-023 has also been shown to inhibit the expression of IL-10 in both pediatric and adult patients with inflammatory bowel disease. The mechanism of action for WH-4-023 is not yet known but it may be due to its ability to bind carbamic acid.
