Descripción:Ephb4 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the EPHB4 gene. This protein belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family. It binds to its ligands, ephrin-A1 and ephrin-A2, as well as members of the ephrin-B class of ligands. The activation of this receptor leads to many downstream effects such as regulating cell migration, proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Ephb4 is an excellent research tool for studying human diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disorders.
