Descripción

Methyl α-L-rhamnopyranoside is a conjugate molecule made via a Fisher glycosylation with MeOH. It has been shown to have pesticidal activities and can be used in the production of pesticides or glycoconjugates. Methyl α-L-rhamnopyranoside is of interest as a vaccine adjuvant, due to its ability to activate the immune system. This compound also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
