Methyl Paraben-d4 is a paraben that belongs to the group of antimicrobial agents. It is used as a preservative in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Methyl Paraben-d4 is used to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi, and has been shown to be effective against Triclocarban, triclosan, and acetylation. This chemical has also been found in urine samples at high levels, which may be due to its widespread use in consumer products. Methyl Paraben-d4 can be used as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial for biocides and pesticides.
