1,3,5-Tri-O-benzoyl-a-D-ribofuranose is a modified carbohydrate. It is synthesized by the methylation of 1,3,5-tri-O-benzoyl-a-D-arabinopyranose followed by glycosylation with 3,6-dideoxyhexose.
