Descripción

Perindopril is a pharmaceutical drug that is used to treat high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. It belongs to the group of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, which inhibit the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II. This leads to reduced levels of angiotensin II, which in turn causes vasodilation and increased blood flow, thereby lowering blood pressure. Perindopril L-arginine is a combination drug that contains perindopril and L-arginine. The mechanism of action for this combination drug includes ACE inhibition, which leads to decreased levels of vasoconstrictor substances such as angiotensin II and aldosterone.
