Descripción:4-Aminoanisole-3-sulfonic acid is a nitro compound that is used as a buffer and pH stabilizer. It is synthesized by the reaction of methoxyaniline with sulfonic acids. 4-Aminoanisole-3-sulfonic acid has been shown to react with x-rays, forming an optical sensor. This chemical can also be used to synthesize other sulfonated compounds such as sulfonates and sulfites. This compound can be prepared by the addition of hydrochloric acid to zinc powder followed by the addition of hydrogen sulfate, which gives the final product in a chlorinated form.
