• Descripción: 9-Ethynyl-9-fluorenol (9EF) is an organometallic compound that is soluble in chlorobenzene. 9EF fluoresces with a maximum emission wavelength of 510 nm when excited at 300 nm. It has been used in the synthesis of polyaromatic compounds and as a polymerization initiator. 9EF has antiviral properties and has been shown to inhibit protein synthesis, RNA synthesis, and DNA replication.
