Información del producto
- Samarium(+3) Cation Tribromide Hexahydrate
Samarium bromide hexahydrate is a triflate-based ionic liquid that is used in organic synthesis. It is an efficient catalyst for ring-opening reactions of epoxides, azides, and peroxides. Samarium bromide hexahydrate has been shown to be a good catalyst for the synthesis of butyl acrylate from epichlorohydrin and acrylic acid. Samarium bromide hexahydrate can also be used as a scavenger for hydrogen peroxide in organic syntheses. It is insoluble in water and reacts with strong bases such as sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide to form the corresponding metal hydroxide.
