Descripción:The peptide AM-211 is a potent activator of the TRPV1 receptor, which is expressed in sensory neurons. This receptor is activated by heat and capsaicin, and mediates pain sensation. AM-211 has been shown to inhibit voltage-gated sodium channels, which are involved in the generation of action potentials. It also binds to the extracellular domain of the Nogo receptor and blocks its interaction with its ligands.
