Descripción:N6-Benzoyl-2’-O-tert-butyldimethylsilyl-3’-O-DMT-adenosine is a novel nucleoside that is an activator of ribonucleotide reductase and an inhibitor of deoxyribonucleotide reductase. It has been shown to have antiviral and anticancer activities, as well as the ability to inhibit DNA synthesis. The synthetic route to this compound begins with the synthesis of N6-(benzoyl)-2'-O-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)-3'-O-(dimethoxytrityl)adenosine, which is then converted to the final product by removal of the silyl protecting group and oxidation.
