This study has shown that N6-benzyladenosine 5'-triphosphate sodium salt - 10 mM aqueous solution is an atp analog that activates protein kinase C, leading to the phosphorylation of proteins. This analog also inhibits tyrosine kinases, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the reuptake of serotonin and other transmitters.
