Información del producto
- Benzonitrile, 3-(Dimethylamino)-
3-(Dimethylamino)benzonitrile is a ligand that binds to the active site of a number of enzymes. It is activated by a variety of factors, including light, pH, and temperature. 3-(Dimethylamino)benzonitrile has been shown to inhibit the formation rate of n-hexane in catalytic reactions with an acetonitrile co-solvent. The fluorescence spectrum of 3-(dimethylamino)benzonitrile is dependent on the solvent used; this spectrum can be used to identify it in solution. 3-(Dimethylamino)benzonitrile can be used as a probe molecule for studying protein transfer reactions in living cells by following its fluorescent transients and spectral changes.
