WRG-28 is a molecule that inhibits the tyrosine kinase activity of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). WRG-28 has been shown to inhibit tumor growth and induce tumor regression in vivo. The mechanism of action for WRG-28 is not fully understood, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit the activity of EGFR and other molecules involved in cancer cell proliferation. WRG-28 also has a high affinity for extracellular matrix proteins such as collagen, which may play an important role in inhibiting tumor progression.
