Hexacosyl (E)-ferulate is a product that is currently undergoing research. Hexacosyl (E)-ferulate has been shown to be active against colon carcinoma cells and human lung cancer cells. Hexacosyl (E)-ferulate is also an antioxidant, which prevents oxidation of other molecules by scavenging free radicals or donating electrons to them, thereby reducing oxidative stress.
