Descripción:5-(1-Benzyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)-1H-1,2,3,4-tetrazole is a diagnostic agent that can be used for iontophoresis. It is insoluble in water and therefore cannot be administered by injection. 5-(1-Benzyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)-1H-1,2,3,4-tetrazole is reconstituted with an antisolvent or diluent before use as an iontophoretic drug. It is hydrophobic and binds to the skin surface during iontophoresis, allowing for the passage of ions through the skin.
