Descripción:ML 193 is a synthetic cannabinoid that binds to the CB2 receptor. It has been shown to reduce pain in animal models and may act by modifying nerve transmission in the spinal cord. ML 193 has also been shown to be a potent inhibitor of protein synthesis, which may contribute to its analgesic properties. The molecular modeling of ML 193 revealed that it is structurally similar to the endocannabinoid anandamide, which also inhibits protein synthesis. This similarity may account for its inhibition of protein synthesis and subsequent analgesic effects.
