Descripción:PNU 74654 is a novel agent that has been shown to be active in cancer and other proliferative disorders. It inhibits the activity of cell signaling pathways by binding to and blocking the epidermal growth factor receptor, leading to reduced levels of cellular proliferation. In addition, PNU 74654 induces apoptosis in cancer cells by inhibiting transcriptional regulation and receptor activity. PNU 74654 also has antitumor effects on experimental models of breast cancer by inducing tumor cell lysis. The drug has been shown to be effective against a range of resistant breast cancer cells as well as various cancers tissues in rats.
