Descripción:Elenbecestat is a peptide that is an inhibitor of the amyloid precursor protein (APP). It has been shown to inhibit the cleavage of APP by beta-secretase, leading to reduced production of beta-amyloid peptides. This compound also binds to and inhibits the activity of gamma-secretase, which leads to reduced production of alpha-secretase. Elenbecestat has been shown to have a high affinity for APP and does not interact with other proteins. It can be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions and receptor binding.
