Descripción:ST-Ht31 is a cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase inhibitor that is membrane permeable and light-sensitive. It is used to study the physiological function of ATP-binding cassette transporters, which are found on cell membranes. ST-Ht31 has been shown to increase membrane hyperpolarization in cells and to inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells. This drug also has regulatory effects on mesenchymal markers, such as growth factor-β1, and can be used for the treatment of prostate cancer. ST-Ht31 binds to the ryanodine receptor, which regulates calcium release from intracellular stores, leading to an increase in intracellular calcium levels.
