Cilengitide is a peptide that inhibits the integrin receptor, which may be involved in tumorigenesis. Cilengitide was found to be effective in an experimental model using MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells, demonstrating its potential for use as a therapeutic agent for cancer treatment.
