This pharmaceutical grade Tauro 6-Ethlchenodeoxycholic Acid-d5 Sodium Salt is a validated, primary biliary and medicines, medicines, and pharmaceuticals. It can be used to extract Ursodeoxycholic acid from human serum or plasma. The extraction technique can be performed using HPLC with UV detection at 254 nm or by LC/MS/MS. The calibration curve was linear over the range of 0 - 50 ng/mL with an R2 value of 0.9993 and the limit of quantification (LOQ) was 2 ng/mL. This compound has been validated for use as an analyte in bioanalytical methods for preregistration studies involving glyco-obeticholic acid (GOCA).
