This drug may also have immunomodulatory effects and can be used to treat microbial infections, neutrophil-associated inflammatory diseases, as well as cancer and inflammatory diseases. Sting agonist-4 has been shown to inhibit tumor angiogenesis and decrease cell maturation, which may contribute to its cytostatic activity.
