2'-O-Methylcytidine 5'-triphosphate lithium is a synthetic nucleoside that is used as an activator for ribonucleosides and deoxyribonucleosides. It also has antiviral properties that are due to its ability to inhibit viral DNA synthesis by preventing viral DNA polymerase from binding to the viral DNA template. 2'-O-Methylcytidine 5'-triphosphate lithium is high quality, novel, and can be used in the synthesis of phosphoramidites. It has been shown to have higher antiviral activity than cytidine 5'-triphosphate lithium (CAS No. 143028-97-1), which is a related compound with similar chemical structure.
