• Descripción: Dimethyl 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)malonate is a potent adenosine receptor antagonist. It binds to the A1, A2A and A2B adenosine receptors by steric interactions with the pyrazole ring, as well as hydrogen bonds to the phosphate groups of ATP. Dimethyl 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)malonate has been shown to be effective in preventing cancer in animal models, while also having anthelmintic properties. This compound has also been shown to bind selectively to kinases, showing no activity against G protein-coupled receptors or ion channels. The binding constants for dimethyl 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)malonate have been determined for a number of different tautomers and conformations. These values are useful for predicting its pharmacokinetic properties, as well as its potential interactions with other drugs or growth factors.
