2',3',5'-Tri-O-acetyl-5-bromouridine is a novel nucleoside analog. It is a modified nucleoside that can be used as an antiviral or anticancer agent. As an antiviral agent, 2',3',5'-Tri-O-acetyl-5-bromouridine inhibits viral RNA synthesis and DNA replication by competing with natural substrates for incorporation into the growing DNA chain. As an anticancer agent, 2',3',5'-Tri-O-acetyl-5-bromouridine inhibits DNA synthesis and increases the sensitivity of cancer cells to cytotoxic drugs. This product is synthesized using the phosphoramidite method in high purity and high quality.
