It also has antiviral activities against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1). 2’,3’,5’-Tri-O-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)-adenosine is a monophosphate nucleoside that inhibits DNA synthesis by inhibiting DNA polymerase.
