This binding causes a decrease in cerebral blood flow, which can lead to seizure activity. 5-Fluoro-2-phenoxyaniline has also been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines and other substances that are associated with neuroinflammation. It has not been determined whether this drug binds to any other receptors or what its target organ might be.
