Información del producto
4-Hydroxypiperidine-2-carboxylic acid is a nitrogen nucleophile that can be produced by reacting 4-hydroxypiperidine with oxalyl chloride. It is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and chemical products. The receptor activity of 4-hydroxypiperidine-2-carboxylic acid has been studied using glutamate as a model substrate. This product may have hypoglycemic effects due to its ability to inhibit the fatty acid biosynthesis pathway and decrease the concentration of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. 4-Hydroxypiperidine-2-carboxylic acid also has anti-oxidative effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species from ethanol extracts from muscle cell cultures.
