Pam3-Cys-OH is a specific antibody that recognizes the bacterial cell wall component, lipopolysaccharide (LPS). It is used in immunotherapy to treat septic shock and other inflammatory diseases. Pam3-Cys-OH has been shown to synergistically stimulate the growth of epidermal cells and promote wound healing. This agent also activates human serum albumin and fatty acids, which are endogenous growth factors. In addition, Pam3-Cys-OH can activate the immune system, leading to an antibody response against LPS. The effective dose of this agent is 10 μg/kg for a single injection.
