Descripción:H-Ser-Phe-Phe-Leu-Cit-OH is a biologically active peptide that has been shown to be a potent activator of the protease-activated receptor 3 (PAR3) and PAR1. PAR3 is a member of the PAR family of G protein-coupled receptors. It has been suggested that this peptide acts as a vasoconstrictor, which might be due to its activation of PAR3 on vascular endothelium and stimulation of the release of endothelin from endothelial cells. This peptide also has been studied for its potential role in hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
