Información del producto
2-Iodo-4-nitro-benzamide is a receptor ligand that binds to the androgen receptor. It has been found to be a potent inhibitor of the synthesis of nitric oxide, which has been shown to be involved in pain sensation. 2-Iodo-4-nitro-benzamide also has pharmacological effects that are similar to those of nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This compound can be synthesized from ammonium formate, a nitro compound, and a linker. The 2-iodo group is transferred onto the benzamide ring in order to produce 2-(2'-iodoethoxy)ethoxycarbonylbenzamide. The resulting molecule is then reacted with trifluoromethyl groups at either end of the molecule to produce a hydrophobic product that contains an alkyl group in its structure. This compound can then be used as a ligand for assays related to and
