Descripción:AC480 is a small molecule inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) that has been shown to produce light emission in a variety of cell lines. When AC480 binds to EGFR, it inhibits its kinase activity, which prevents the receptor from transmitting signals that stimulate cell growth. AC480 has a high degree of selectivity for EGFR over other kinases and has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in animal models. In addition, AC480 enhances radiation-induced cell death in prostate cancer cells. This drug also inhibits the production of antibodies associated with autoimmune diseases and may be used to treat these conditions.
