• Descripción: Eledoisin-related peptide is a research tool that can be used to study the activation of G protein-coupled receptors. It is a ligand and an activator of the human beta-adrenergic receptor. Eledoisin-related peptide binds to the beta2-adrenergic receptor with high affinity, but does not activate the receptor. Instead, it inhibits the binding of other ligands such as epinephrine and norepinephrine to their respective receptors. Eledoisin-related peptide has been shown to inhibit ion channels in cell biology studies. This peptide has also been shown to bind to antibodies and interact with proteins in pharmacological studies.
