Descripción:Darbufelone mesylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that belongs to the group of fatty acid derivatives, and it has been shown to be effective against chronic bronchitis. It has also been shown to inhibit the production of leukotrienes and prostaglandins, which are mediators of inflammation. Darbufelone mesylate inhibits the synthesis of leukotrienes by blocking the action of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and adenosine receptors. This drug is also used in cancer treatment, although its effects on tumor cells are not well understood.
