Descripción

Byzantionoside B is a natural product derived from the Capsicum annuum plant. It has been shown to have insulin sensitizing effects in vitro and to reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines. This compound also has bone growth promoting activities and inhibits tyrosinase, which is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of tyrosinase to melanin. Byzantionoside B has been shown to inhibit 3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (EBTSA), which is a chemical that induces inflammation in pancreatic cells. It also increases bone mineral density by stimulating osteoblasts and inhibiting osteoclasts.
