Descripción:LIN28B is a protein that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce apoptosis. LIN28B was originally isolated from human fetal brain tissue. The recombinant form of LIN28B is produced in E. coli, which allows for its use as an experimental tool in research on the role of LIN28B in cancer cells. It has also been shown to activate a receptor called the retinoid X receptor (RXR) and to bind to a ligand called 9-cis-retinoic acid, which may be involved in cell proliferation and differentiation.
